Reenactors in Ohio

Members of the 1st Allied Airborne Reenactors portraying paratroopers from the 101st pose with a CCKW during the Convoy lay-over in Wooster, Ohio.

Live from Wooster

Wooster Ohio,
Thanks to the Marlboro Volunteers, you guys are the best.
"Down" day, yea right. Doc's Staff car had to have it's motor replaced, yes they put in a new, well kinda new, motor in his vehicle. New members have joined us today. We should have close to 70 vehicles including chase vehicles in our convoy tomorrow.
I spent the day shooting vid and pics and 5 hours digitizing vid to send some to our friends in the Pentagon.
New buttons on blog, look down below the pics and there is a button for the flickr site as well as the army.mil site that is following us.
Spread the news. The more PR we get the better. We love the little kids that stand by the road waving their tiny American flags for us. Waving as hard as hard as they can. Gives you goose bumps.
Well enough for tonight or Ms daley will have my tukus if i don't send them some stuff.

Back on the road tomorrow.

Tuesday on my mind

Good morning blog followers.
Down day for the convoy. Well down being we can sleep til 6 am. I've been online and posting more pics at flickr/MVPAPress, and will get even more up today. Remember these are raw photos, no editing at all so the DVD we produce will have better color and framing.
Incredible day yesterday coming to East Palestine Ohio. We figured that it being a monday and all that we would be lucky to see just a few folk. I bet there were at least a thousand people lining the streets and more at the park.East Palestine set a high bar for any town to match with the food they put on.The Chamber of Commerce, thanks Don,brought the burgers and franks, seemed that every house in town produced their best food to add to the table. The desert table went on forever. Pics of the feast will be up later. It made me very proud to call that town home. A huge thanks to the people of East palestine and the surrounding communities.
Will post again laters.
